Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.
I took this photo on June 6, 2021. I took these photos with my new Sony 4.0 70-200mm G OSS lens.

I would appreciate you continuing to post your entries on my daily post entries. If you need more information here is a link to my FOTD page.
I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Oh THAT’s what that flower is called – lol! I’ve taken pictures before of this flower, but didn’t know what it was.
Beautiful shot.

It is also known as digitalis. Yes, it is what the heart medicine comes from. 😀

Foxglove is such an under rated flower, yet so pretty. I need to find some seeds and plant them in my garden.

They grow wild here. I’ve never seen them in gardens. 😀

Oooh! I just love foxglove! And it’s medicinal too. Or poisonous… LOL

It is digitalis. It’s a heart medicine and I suppose if you don’t need it … quite poisonous 😀 😀

What a lovely flower! Like your framing 😊. Saw many of those flowers last year in the Bavarian Fichtelgebirge, very close to the hiking trail 😉.

Everything is coming up foxes today. First, I woke up early and wrote a poem about foxtails. Then one lf the first blogs I read was about foxes and foxtails and now you publish a photo of foxgloves. What is it in the air?

I just saw this flower the other day and I was so tempted to stick my fingers inside. Heard it was toxic though. Thank you for sharing, now I know how its called.

It’s name is also Digitalis and that is what they make heart medine out of. I’m sure it’s toxic for most people.

Beautiful Foxglove Cee. My good camera has been taking very blurry photographs. Thanks for the example of this camera brand. It takes amazing close-up photos.

Hi Cee
I adore your FOTD challenge and finally decided to join the party. Your own flowers are so vibrant and fresh and I think you may have a secret florist shop hiding in the basement! Wonderful challenges, all of them
Here are my flowers for FOTD
