I haven’t been well the last few weeks. I am seeing a psychologist and taking medication for my covid related condition. Part of it is losing interest in creative activities. Now I understand why I haven’t felt like posting. Hopefully I’ll soon be old self.

Oh I’m so sorry you are going through a tough time. Hopefully your psychologist can help you out. 😀

Appletjie, I got a new Galaxy recently and it also has a macro feature that my old one didn’t have. It took me awhile, and several blurry photos, before I got the hang of it! An example of how it works is here: https://amoralegria.com/2021/06/12/fotd-bearded-iris-3/

Practice is what makes us a great photographer. Isn’t digital photography perfect for us. Delete the worst of the photos and it costs us nothing. 😀 😀

We saw hundreds of California (orange) poppies on our trip through Portland, Cee! I miss them up here, but they are so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing yours!

I mentioned to Margaret that they grow wild here. So I thought I would post some 😀 😀

Of course they grew wild all over California, but they bloomed early February into April. I tried to plant some but I needed to do so in October. I ended up buying my own plants but they didn’t grow back. Then I would walk down the street of my old neighborhood and see poppies growing wild on people’s lawns…if only 🙂
