This week our topic is Flowers.
Be creative if you feel like it, and fun with this challenge this week. Remember your photos needs to be black and white, desaturated, sepia (brown tones) or selective color. I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up.

Please note that I have started a series of Tips from Cee page. I posted several tips for black and white you may want to check out.
Feel free to take new photos or dig through your archives. The main object of this challenge is to have fun

Many thanks as ever, Cee, for hosting another lovely challenge. Your dahlia is especially spectacular in monochrome. Here’s my foxglove:

I love the treatment of your Dahlia! It’s crisp and elegant and if you could sell it to a fabric maker or whoever makes wallpaper, I’d definitely put it up on my walls. Or wear it! It’s wonderful.

I’ve used the one on B&W flower photography with what I have. I have a small cannon with no lens attachments and a Samsung FE 20 with a good camera. I don’t have any photo apps and the ones on the phone are limited so I tried to get the gist of your tutorial and apply what techniques I could. Your examples of good and bad are very helpful. The tutorials are ready to follow and you illustrate your points clearly.
