It´s amazing how nature can mesmerized us with its mystery and beauty. This is a great capture, the folds, the textures, and the different tints creating such a great mood.

Amazing, Cee, it does look like brush strokes! Hope you are managing to keep cool this week–horrible here too! Thought I’d drop my link here too: https://secondwindleisure.com/2021/06/27/sunday-stills-are-you-ready-for-the-great-outdoors/

We have great AC and ceiling fans. Plus my Dyson fan is aimed right at me on this side of the house where my “office” is–warmer here. Glad you are staying cool!

It is just that flower. It is a dinner plate size (10 inch diameter). I’ve always loved this one.

I just want to touch it.

It’s strange in the gardens where I photograph the majority of my flowers, I don’t touch them often. I’ve seen too many people either picking them or ruining them. I don’t want to give people ideas. Although, I do have to admit more often than not, people are gentle with them. 😀

Someone asked me recently why I don’t put some peonies in a vase.. after a pause I just said “they last long on the bush” . I never want to touch them either🙂
