This is my entry for Becky’s for July #TreeSquare challenge.
Many years ago I took this photo of a pair of shoe trees. It was outside on a public bench. There was only the one black shoe on the bench. By the way, I had no idea that they are called shoe tree.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee

What strange things to see on a park bench!

I thought it was particularly odd too 😀

what a cool scene to happen upon, Cee – and it makes me wonder why one shoe and what was going on there
and after seeing Becky’s post I realized I did not know the name of these wooden shoe inserts –
and my mother used to have a bunch but I never grabbed any photos –

I never knew the name of them until Becky posted them. I just had to share this photo. 😀

I have a pair of shoe trees. They are still useful if a pair of shoes need a little stretching to be comfortable. I don’t use them very often, but I have them — in case.

Fabulous! I bought one at a garage sale when I was a kid collecting antiques. Brilliant. 🙂

Definitely an oddity. I’ve seen the lone shoe more than a time or two but never two shoe trees!

The shoe didn’t surprise me at all. 😀 😀

I absolutely love this type of photo. Especially of a lone shoe in an unusual place. What makes this especially interesting is the shoe trees near it!!
