Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.
I took these photos yesterday with my Sony A6000. These blooms were on a tree or real tall bush. I’m not sure what kind to blossoms they are.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

HI, Cee 👋 Just did a quick image search & it looks like it could be a butterfly bush (buddleja): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddleja

You might be right. They go to 5m or 16′ tall which is about right. 😀

I’d say these are buddleia. I love them because of their ability to attract butterflies – hence ‘butterfly bush’ in colloquial English.
