This is my entry for Becky’s for July #TreeSquare challenge. I thought I would post some driftwood for this challenge today. They were all living trees at one point usually until they fell into the water.
This photo I took in river about 30 minutes from my house. It had some big trees in it.

This is a series of driftwood I’ve taken at the various Oregon coast beaches. (Click on any photo to view a slideshow.)
I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

driftwood is always amazing but these are fantastic – I am seeing so much in that final one in particular. First a lion, then a person and now I am not sure!!
Fantastic #TreeSquares Cee, and quite unique

I really was trying to not have broken trees, but driftwood to me is different 😀 THere is something in that last photo, I just can’t tell you what. 😀

I always think of driftwood as the next stage of a tree’s life, a beautiful stage once it comes back on land.
And phew glad not just me not sure what it is in that last one!

Driftwood is like clouds – an open invitation to all kinds of thoughts. Do you see the wounded boar in the last photo?

I don’t know if it is a boar, but it is certainly a wounded something 😀 😀

Oh, I sure love the Oregon coast. It brings back fond memories of my teen-aged years – and I was a teen for a very long time – almost until age 30. 🙂
