This week our topic is Bridges.
I know it is a little late for Debbie’s One World Sunday with the topic of Bridges. I thought Id link the two together.
This week I thought I would show off my favorite bridge in Oregon. The Astoria-Megler Bridge which crosses the Columbia River at Astoria, Oregon and spans 4.2 miles to the Washington coast. I took this photo (wide angle lens) from the deck of a Bistro that is close to the foot of the bridge.

Be creative if you feel like it, and fun with this challenge this week. Remember your photos needs to be black and white, desaturated, sepia (brown tones) or selective color. I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up.
Please note that I have started a series of Tips from Cee page. I posted several tips for black and white you may want to check out.
Feel free to take new photos or dig through your archives. The main object of this challenge is to have fun

Thank you so much Cee. I vaguely remember going down the steep hill when I was a teen. It scared me to death. My tummy jumped in recognition! YIKES! It makes a great picture, though.

I loved it. I took photos all the way down. Chris was a little hesitant driving it. She’s driven it a few times now. 😀

That is one downhill bridge Cee. I wonder how many skateboarders have thought about going down the street 🙂

The wide angle lens version of Astoria-Megler Bridge is certainly amazing.
And that second last photo is giving a steep view of the bridge, which is not the case I’m sure in real 🙂

It really does drop down that fast. It’s a scary bridge to drive or be a passenger the first time your drive down it….. okay maybe the second time too.
