This week our topic is Bridges.
I know it is a little late for Debbie’s One World Sunday with the topic of Bridges. I thought Id link the two together.
This week I thought I would show off my favorite bridge in Oregon. The Astoria-Megler Bridge which crosses the Columbia River at Astoria, Oregon and spans 4.2 miles to the Washington coast. I took this photo (wide angle lens) from the deck of a Bistro that is close to the foot of the bridge.
Be creative if you feel like it, and fun with this challenge this week. Remember your photos needs to be black and white, desaturated, sepia (brown tones) or selective color. I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up.
Please note that I have started a series of Tips from Cee page. I posted several tips for black and white you may want to check out.
Feel free to take new photos or dig through your archives. The main object of this challenge is to have fun
I had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s Only one, two or three wheels on display topic. I want to say thank you to each of you for participating and sharing your photos. Here are the featured bloggers for this week. Their posts really grabbed my attention. They are all worthy of a second or third look.
For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below. Be creative and challenge yourself. For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.
- Fences and Gates
- Steps: Indoors or Outdoors
- Half of Anything
- Any kind of structure using concrete
I hope you have FUN a lot of fun with this challenge.
