Featured Bloggers
We had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s PPAC #9. Marsha picked out the featured bloggers and says “thank you” to each of you for joining along in our challenge. Their posts really grabbed Cee’s attention. They are all worthy of a second or third look.
Public art is which encompasses any form of art you see in a public place, large or small, statues, murals, graffiti, gardens, Christmas lights, even buildings or bridges. The art should be visible from streets, sidewalks or outdoor public places.

The bear on the tractor made me smile. That must have taken a while to carve.

I particularly how they incorporated the music staff and notes on the wall. And the tulip bench in front of the tulips!

I like the bear on the tractor too. It reminds me also of the wood carvings dotted around Geeveston. Another reminder of our similar forest heritage.

Cee, this is lovely. I love the bear and tractor as well, but the murals are interesting. I didn’t remember the Yaquina Bridge being green. I wrote about our trip to Newport in 2018. (Not the best photography) https://alwayswrite.blog/2018/08/07/how-to-escape-the-heat-discover-newport-oregon/

The green bridge started here in Oregon. 😀 😀 It’s always been green. Although between paintings and bright sun it can look much lighter at times. 😀

So you’ve been to the wax museum. I’ve never been…it just doesn’t appeal to me. From that distance you wouldn’t have seen the bridge as green 😀 😀

It wasn’t too appealing, but remember, I was with my brother. We did things he wanted too. I wanted to go on a boat. He said ok when he should have been honest and got super sick.
