I spent most of the day taking pictures of mums and one chickadee who got tired of waiting for me to finish taking pictures and came over to chirp at me. Those little birds are fearless! But by the time I got through processing those pictures, it’s too late to post them and then you have gourds — and I love gourds. They are so much fun. When some of them dry out, they become maracas 🎉

Yup,
Butter nut and Queensland Blues fill me with fear,I need a Paint Scraper to slice them.
I have never met most of these, they are a work of art.

I use them strictly as decorative gourds. Although I’m sure some people do eat them. Thanks Margaret and Andrew 😀

These are all very small. The biggest one is maybe 5 inches long.
