A wonderful theme Cee. You don’t get to see books here.

It is harder and harder to find bookstores and books. 😀

What a great theme! I still have my online book store, which I am trying to phase out, still have listings in my inventory, and tons of unlisted books still to go. Our local Goodwill store opened new recently and I am in the process of donating my excess library to them. I need to move this vast book enterprise before my kids have to decide what to do with them…I’d rather give them to Goodwill than give them to HalfPriceBooks.
Book stores are becoming a thing of the past, unfortunately.

What a great mix of books and papers. They hang so well together.
I’ve gone with some art that I have shown before, but it fits well with your topic. https://travelwithintent.com/2021/11/17/paper-art/

Great photos for this theme Cee. Funnily enough Hobart’s daily paper is also The Mercury.

It is some little gossip newspaper in Portland. I don’t know too much about it.

Probably a better paper than our Mercury which is a Murdoch paper. I don’t read it.

How I love photos of old books, Cee. I need to go searching for some in my own bookcases.

Delicious for Morrie, at least. He was a puppy, locked alone in that room and his outside runway, and he was bored. He had a broken hip and had to be kept as quiet as possible. He found a way to keep busy.

I guess he found a way. Digi will get into Chris garbage and recycling in her office when left alone. Easy solution, close the door, but we don’t always remember 😀 😀

I love that first shot – very atmospheric! I have a library visit with a difference as my contribution this week: https://www.toonsarah-travels.blog/a-look-inside-the-grand-peoples-study-house/

Thank you for this challenge, Cee. I love books so much and always have. And now I mostly read e-books… I think I love your notebook photo the most. Here are my 20 or so. And now I’ll be so happy to look at everybody else’s.

I love you book photos. The man reading the paper must be reading the news! (and it doesn’t matter when it was – it’s always bad news) He looks grumpy. LOL That’s why I read blogs. It renews my faith in people. What is not to love about books, though. I love books. 🙂
