FOTD – November 26 – Mums

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

For those of us in the United States it is still Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, 11/24). Hope everyone is full and satisfied today!!

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Qi (energy) hugs

  1. If flowers were birds, I’d have a bunch for tonight, but it was a very big bird day here and by that I do NOT mean turkey. It was like a Hitchcock movie except the birds were here for the food. There were so MANY of them. Nothing rare, but at one point, we had (Owen counted them) we had 17 doves on the deck. Birds flew in, grabbed a seed, flew away and two more arrived. it was crazy. After the two red squirrels ate ALL the black sunflower seeds, I had to refill the feeder. Are we the only people feeding birds right now?

    • Sounds like you had a great day with the birds. We will get up 50 or more starlings in our yard. Countless little guys in our bushes to. Chris feeds them regularly, I’ll fed them and take the starlings while Chris feeds the little guys 😀
