This first photo is of a black crow that Chris hand fed while it had a hurt wing. It stayed in our yard for about a week and I had the pleasure of seeing it practice flying until he could fly on its own.

It was wonderful to see him practice. I actually saw him fly away. We get a crow early season and he just caws and caws. I don’t wonder if it isn’t him coming to say “hi”.
