Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.
Check out this link as to how poinsettias are colored.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

And I always thought it was Poinsettia fairies. They wear boots you know?

It’s a great colour! But I’m not all that keen on tinkering with nature.

I’m not good with poinsettias either. They are good one a few weeks at Christmas time. π

The secret is out now! Thanks for sharing. I think there’s similar techniques used for succulents, as the “blue” one that I had grew out with green leaves.

That’s an interesting color, but I feel a bit like Jo about tinkering with nature/color. π

I think it is fun, just because they are different. The colored water doesn’t hurt the plant any. But I do prefer them their natural color.
