FOTD – December 28 – Brrr …. It’s Cold Outside

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I just wanted something way different for today. Here are the same type of tick bushes (Japanese Barberry Bush) in two different seasons.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Love the before & after photos of the Japanese Bar berry Bush. Wet heavy snow does lend beauty to plants and trees, although it can also cause problems. We haven’t had much snow here in Ohio this year…which I hasten to add is not a bad thing. My knockout roses want to form buds. 🙂

  2. It’s hard for me to believe that YOU have more snow now than we have gotten this year. I was just warning Garry to be careful tomorrow. We’ve suppose to get an icing overnight and our driveway after even a small ice storm is a life and death bunny slope. Whatever has to be done, it waits until the driveway is clear of ice.

The weather is being so very weird, isn’t it?
