What great birds shots you have shared, Cee.
The word birds always makes me think of the thousands of gannets at Bass Rock – so here are some old and new photos from my visits there:https://travelwithintent.com/2022/01/13/birds-at-bass-rock/

It’s a tiny bird, something like a sparrow. I’m not great at identifying them. 😀

That hand towards the pigeon is certainly one of a kind shot.
And thank you so very much for choosing my last week post, Cee 🙂

I’ve just not had any good sky shots. Dark gray is not my favorite color 😀 😀 So glad you like that pigeon shot. 😀

I’m also not a big fan of dark gray sky. If you like, I can add your this week’s Lens-Artists post for the next episode of my challenge 🙂

I love the hummingbirds. I have seen them often at feeders, but never had a camera, probably because I don’t have a hummingbird feeder. Once, on a beach in Maine, a hummingbird must have thought my red bathing suit was a huge flower because he landed on my shoulder. Still no camera, but a great birdy moment 😀

That would have been a great birdy moment. Yes, hummingbirds are attracted to red. 😀 I would have loved to take a photo of you with it on your shoulder. 😀

I also love the geese running on the water. I love the way geese need to taxi on the “runway” before they can lift off. Really heavy birds, like swans and loons, sometimes don’t make it the first time and need to start over. I’ve seen them give up and just waddle across the road. Too much energy in lifting off, I guess.

Yeah, but it makes them so pretty to watch 😀

What wonderful bird shots, Cee! I envy you the colibris. And I love the shot with the Canada geese. I only managed a stationary shot. And the look on the pigeons face is priceless.

What splendid bird portraits, Cee. My birds this week are rather a ‘less is more’ approach. (My camera’s lost its zoom)

Hi Cee
Your black and white birds are charming and show lots of personality, especially the small bird perched at the edge of the feeder and the Pigeon with beak agape staring at the hand that seems to be missing a finger. I think that image could use a speech bubble.
Here’s my submission for your wonderful CBWC Birds challenge:
