Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

My anthurium has been blooming continuously for almost four years. It is an amazing plant that requires very little care, but keeps on putting out those wonderful waxy scarlet flowers. It’s the only thing in my world that’s blooming right now in the dead of winter, so I fed it some fertilizer. I want it to know how much I love it!
I did NOT know it was also called the Flamingo Lily. What a great name!

I didn’t realize it either. I have a little program on my phone and it is their common name, which I really like 😀
