FOTD – February 13 – Bearded Iris

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

Coyotes can be brazen I saw one trotting down our driveway in broad daylight once. We never let our little dog out alone at night even though we have a fenced yard.

Beautiful Iris. It´s quite an unusual colour, almost brown on some of the petals with lovely patches of purple and yellow.
