CBWC: Lines

This week our topic is Lines of all sorts..

Hops vines infrastructure in the winter time.

Be creative if you feel like it, and have fun with this challenge this week. Remember your photos needs to be black and white, desaturated, sepia (brown tones) or selective color.  I’m looking forward to seeing what you all come up.

Please note that I have started a series of Tips from Cee page. I posted several tips for black and white you may want to check out.

Feel free to take new photos or dig through your archives.  The main object of this challenge is to have fun.

I had a marvelous response from all of you on last week’s Rocks, Boulders, Stones topic. I want to say thank you to each of you for participating and sharing your photos.  Here are the featured bloggers for this week.  Their posts really grabbed my attention. They are all worthy of a second or third look.

Upcoming Topics

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  • It’s About Time or Thyme
  • Photos and quotes to go along
  • Candid Photography
  • Unusual Perspectives
  • Shoes, Boots, Slippers
  • In the distance

I hope you have FUN a lot of fun with this challenge.

  2. Amazing how much fun we can all have with lines, in all their forms. I particularly like the hop vines.
And thanks for mentioning my rocky post from last week, Cee

  3. I love your lines. Especially the cat on the fence. I should have done that with Princess, but it’s bedtime now, so Princess is staying black and white. You’ll see her tomorrow. I love the Ferris Wheel. I am seeing daylight at the end of my organizing tunnel. I figured out a way to use my camera roll to upload pictures and videos automatically without tying up so much of my hard drive. It’s taking some time, but it seems to be working. Have a great weekend.
