I love the color, but in the first photo, I really find the structure of the branches really interesting. They are almost look like arteries on a angiogram. But, my favorite is the third one where you see the stump of the tree going into the ground. Almost looks like a volcanic mountain that has erupted pink flowers!

That tree is just down the street from where I live. It is in the yard of a Mormon church. Just thought you’d like that piece of trivia, or not. LOL

Perfection in Pink Cee – we don’t see cherry blossoms this far south so this one was a real pleasure for me. The blooms are beautiful, and beautifully-captured. Only an excellent photographer would think to capture the fallen blossoms at the base as well. Terrific!

Beautiful tree. It reminds me of my cherry tree that deteriorated to a falling-down stump and then grew new branches from the ground, and pleasantly surprised me a couple of years ago with flowers! Even the bark looks like a similar tree. Right now the tree has not formed buds yet, but its just the first of March! 🙂

Oh, I hope you get some beauty out of it this year. 😀

The stump of the original tree has all but deteriorated, but there are several viable branches coming from the ground. I have some photos from last year. The blossoms seem to hang down, though, so to get and on face shot I have to take it from below the flowers. In fact I think I did a post a couple years ago.
