FOTD – March 1 – Camellia

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

We are having monsoon style rain today. I took this camellia photo in between massive bouts of rain.

  19. Camellias are so lovely, with those intricate folds. So soft among those glossy leaves. Lovely photo.

    I meant to link this post this yesterday, but I spent the whole day on the road. I hope there are still some here for whom this is new, and that others don’t mind seeing it again.

  22. I like the contrast of all the green leaves, buds, the standing water on the leaves and then the lone, solitary pink flower. Even though it’s small, the detail on the flower stands out and draws your eye right to it. Brilliant! 🤗😎
