Welcome to Cee’s Midweek Madness Challenge (CMMC).  The topic is Close Up or Macro.

Guess I’m still seeing oddities from Becky’s February #SquareOdds challenge. Some of these photos are not square, can you spot them?

  27. I did giggle at the puppy softie and I really liked the spider web threads. I really have to thank you Cee, I have started to see the world around me in a different light…..a couple of my shots this week were taken at the beach……I mean goggles….who would have thought to take a photo of some missing goggles??? You would for sure. I have also tentatively started to take photo’s of people at the beach…not my comfort zone but I think candid shots of people are wonderful.

    • It took me forever to start taking candid photos of people. Since I don’t sell my photos, I don’t have to have permission. I took that one lady on a sternwheeler. She was just standing looking at the view. She was captivating.
      A hint, have a long zoom lens, it makes it not quite so obvious you are taking their photo. I really don’t like staged people shots.

      • Oh I would only ever use a long lens. I love my Nikon z50 as you can really crop a long shot quite a bit and it is still clear. I didn’t know the bit about not needing permission unless you sell them.

        • Every country has its own rules. Every since everyone is now captured on film (cameras for security) reason many places have eased up on permission to photograph/sell photos has loosened a lot. I don’t think many people expect that kind of privacy any more. Especially with cell phones.
