Here is my entry for guest host from Murtaugh Meadow’s blog of the Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge.
This week my special place is the town I live in, Canby, Oregon, USA.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee

I really hope in the next couple of years I get to visit you and your lovely home town.

You have given us a lovely flavour of Canby Cee. Love that old tree with the picnic bench and that field of flowers. Is this where your love of flowers comes from?

No it’s not where it comes from. I actually had a dream when I was six years old. I was laying in a field of flowers looking up at the clouds. I’ve always loved flowers. Now I live in a place where there are flowers farms within 40 minutes of where I live. Although the dahlia farm is only a mle and a half from where I live.

I’d never heard of Canby until I ‘met’ you, Cee, but I’m glad I did.

I have many flower fields within 45 minutes from where I live. Tree and berry farms too. Hops vinyards, grape vinyard, fruit and nut trees. 😀 😀

A nice visit through Canby. Such a nice town, indeed. I miss the flower fields. You are just coming into the season. Another month…. Great share of your special place. Donna

Thanks Donna for your comment. I won’t be going to the tulips this year. They’ve outpriced themselves as far as I’m concerned. 😀 😀

Really! We lived their years ago and would take our girls. Hardly any crowds, and maybe a few dollars for what you can carry. Just like everything I guess. Still pretty.

They went from a car season pass at $35 or $40 per season. This year a pass is $60 person, so in my house it would be $120 for us. We have covid long haul and can’t walk much anymore so it just isn’t worth the money. I don’t think it would be even bein physically fit. 😀

Wow! I agree with you. Pretty sad really. And sorry for your residual Covid stuff. Not fun.
Your gift is your eyes. Thank goodness you have that to share with all of us every day. Donna

Oh, those dahlias! Beautiful. Looking like we’ll have to add Canby to our list of places to visit in Oregon. We’ve headed through your state twice in the last couple of years, but missed your community.
