Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Love this as ground cover with the dark green/white ivy. I can almost smell it, it is so beautiful.

We had it at our other house in Canby. I really did like it 😀 😀

Despite the name, I think the texture is quite soft of this.

Looks a bit like ferns, but way smaller 😃 As a complete aside, in the navy we called anyone with the surname Miller “dusty” because millers were always covered in flour dust 😂

That makes sense. 😀 😀

Is that the name of this plant? That’s great!

It really is the nick name of the plant. Silver ragwort otherwise.

I had my comment written yesterday when my wifi went away for the night. Charter was “repairing” something. Anyway, Dusty Miller is the very first plant I grew in my very first garden and it brings back delightful memories of way back when.
Obviously, it’s back, but it has been up and down for a while. I will try to connect tomorrow and hopefully, it will hold. I just never know.
