Hi Cee
Me again with more Birds, I hope I’m not too late. I’m a soft touch for your Birds topics. I think all of your birds photos here are excellent captures, especially the lead image. Is it a male Wood Duck?
Here’s my take on CFFC: Birds:

Lovely birds ! My favorite is the eagle on the roof.
This is mine today. The link looks a bit funny, but I think it works.

Hi Cee
I adore your Bald Eagle on the roof! And the sculpture of the bird on that metal hanger thingy is unusual and a good fit for this topic, but the humble American Robin is my favorite – so sweet and a welcome harbinger for Spring.
And am I ever embarrassed for being tardy in commenting on your great CFFC and FOTD posts, I also didn’t even place the actual FOTD tag.
Here’s my CFFC Birds and FOTD offering:

Wonderful birds! Amazing to see an eagle perched on a rooftop! I saw some yesterday on our walk at Carkeek Park. 🙂 https://catsandtrailsandgardentales.com/2022/03/10/a-visit-to-carkeek-park/

Wonderful bird photos! The eagle on your roof is beyond wonderful. They used to nest in our woods, but have since moved on to bigger rivers with bigger fish. Tomorrow I’ll post something for this. Meant to do it sooner, but kept losing the post! Too many emails!

If I conjured up what I thought a wood duck would look like, it wouldn’t be that colourful. Fabulous!

Wood to me speaks of brown or tan maybe a soft orange. 😀 😀

Some great shots, Cee. I especially like the eagle – not something I see very often!
Some of the birds in my response need good eyesight to find them! 😉 https://travelwithintent.com/2022/03/08/gulls-on-the-beach/

Beautiful birds! Love the eagle. It’s hard for me to capture them. I’ve only seen bald eagles up north and in Nebraska—when they’re flying away.

That one pictured here had it’s eye on a possum that got run over. We actually called the police to get the possum disposed of, because if that eagle landed on a busy street…..
