FOTD – March 12 – Summer Garden

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. That is what I try to achieve. Sadly, we have some seriously invasive plants here that tend to take over before the summer is ended. I’m hoping this year won’t be as awful as last year!

  2. There 2 kinds of good gardens when it comes to a field of flowers. First is one that is planned out and size and color are coordinated to provide beautiful focal points and look natural not to mention smell wonderful. Second one is toss and leave it to Mother Nature to choose where and what to grow. These are my favorites because when I look at them, it is like walking in the forest and coming to a meadow filled with natural wildflowers, wherever the wind carried the seeds. Beautiful, airy and surrounding you with beauty and fragrances. This picture may be planned, but it looks like the second type. I would love walking through a large field of these flowers on a nice warm spring day. One of my favorites Cee.
