FOTD – March 22 – Panicle Hydrangea

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

This hydrangea is native to Japan and China.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Nice blooms with a shape that is totally different than what I am used to seeing hydrangeas looking like. Almost look like upside down hearts. When I see hydrangeas, I think of little flower girls spreading these petals down an aisle for the bride to walk on. Great shot Cee. Hugs.

    • THese hydrangeas are huge. Their blooms are close to 18″ long. There are a couple houses in Canby where they grow higher than one-story. 😀 😀
