FOTD – April 21 – Smooth Cat’s Ear or False Dandelion

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

These grow to be a foot or more. They are native to Europe and rarely found in North America. I took this photo in my yard in Canby, Oregon, US.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Never heard of these. I would have looked and thought they were “dent de Leon” or dandelion. See, I told you I don’t have a green thumb and can’t tell flowers from weeds! LOL Love the way they are leaning into the sun.

  2. They are so pretty even thought they´re weeds. They quite abundant here in Sweden and I have had a few sneaking in to my garden… 🙂
