FOTD – May 5 – Roses

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

From my archives

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Nice shade of gradient pink roses Cee. You almost could wrap the stem with florist tape, tie a ribbon around the base, and you would have a ready made small bouquet. Great catch.

  2. These are beauties. My macro lens doesn’t get the entire photo in focus like this–just a smaller section. Is it the lens or is it me? Thanks, Cee.

    • Hi Lois, it’s a combination.
Do you know how to switch your aperture on your camera? If you do turn to to about 12 and you should get much clear images. If not, we can set up a zoom meeting and I can talk you through it hopefully. Just let me know what kind of camera you use.

Aperture is fun to play around with if you haven’t.

      • Cee–thank you so much. I will play around with aperture–I don’t know why that slips my mind sometimes. Definitely I will yell for help if I need it. ๐Ÿ˜˜
