Lens Artists Photo #199: Mechanical/Industrial

Here is my entry for John of Journey of Johnbo’s blog Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Mechanical/Industrial.

This first photo is of a hydroelectric plant and Bonneville Dam near Cascade Locks, Oregon.

This photo is an old steam engine that was used for farming.

This photo is of a rusty old mechanical equipment used at an old lumber mill.

This is an old woollen mill in Salem and some of their mechanical equipment.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Nice collection of industrial images, Cee. I especially like the composition of the photo at the Bonneville Dam. I like the black and white treatment of the steam tractor.

  2. These are great pictures, Cee, I enjoyed seeing all of them! Must admit though, my favorite is the old steam engine used for farming – very creative.

My blog is my way of communication these days, comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks for stopping by to visit.
