FOTD – May 22 – My first Iris is in Bloom

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

  7. I am so jealous! We are still under frost warnings because we keep going below 32 at night and if we are lucky, into the mid 50s during the day. Our trees aren’t even leafing out yet! Whew! I feel better. Lovely shot and lovely iris. Congrats to you guys on the first one. Is this from your cloth planters? Just beautiful.

    • Yes it is from the cloth planter. Looks like I’ll get two blooms for sure. One bulb is splitting into three. And when they split they don’t bloom. I think the others were split this season. It’s been cold here too, so we shall see if they are just that far behind. The lilies are doing great 😀

  23. Beautiful, Cee! Purple and yellow or orange is my favorite color combination for flowers. I have that in a torenia this year and I hope it flourishes on the patio.
