Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Iris are such interesting flowers with the twists and turns on the stem and the leaves. Beautiful too, but complex.

Now that is a beauty; love the almost black colour of the outer flower 😃

I adore the dark colors, but they are so hard to capture in natural lighting. 😀 😀

Lovely soft lower petals, while the top ones look like they are made of paper. 🙂

I’m in love with these purple irises, Cee! You always capture these so beautifully! My neighbor had to cut back a bunch of hers and gave me a few to start in a big pot. Here is my numerical contribution this week as I share an image with a LOT of wild sunflowers: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/06/05/sunday-stills-its-a-numbers-game/
