Here is my entry for Parul’s, Happiness and Food blog, #ThursdayTreeLove Challenge. This is a stunning tree just a few houses from where I live in Canby, Oregon. The Golden Chain Tree is also poisonous, so don’t eat the blooms. See second photo for a semi close up.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

What an interesting name for the tree we simply call ‘laburnum’. Always a favourite in early summer!

I do too! But nobody would understand me if I started calling it that.

Absolutely beautiful! I don’t see this growing where I live (New York State); it may be that our soil is too acid for it. I’d love to see one in person one day.

How lovely and yes, the tree is huge. Thanks for the perspective. It helps to see it in the light of its size. The yellow blooms make the tree beautiful. Thanks for joining, Cee.
