Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

That’s really an amazing rhododendron — and a perfect picture of it.

Gorgeous color, Cee and to know they are in your yard makes most of us jealous, I’m sure! Another blogger in the Seattle area grows them too, maybe there is hope for me to have my own, too. Thanks for hosting FOTD, I’m choosing a bunch of wildflowers and weeds to celebrate the solstice this week: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/06/19/sunday-stills-a-wildflower-solstice/

I’ve seen your post and it was lovely. This particular rhodie is on a bush that is taller than our one story house. 😀

They usually are quite amazing to see in bloom 😀 What I like about them is that they are evergreens 😀

I just visited my daughter two weeks ago. Yes, the rhodie is two stories high, like a tree. 🙂

I love all the rhodie colors! Probably I like link and lavender better. 🙂

I like the lavender and deep purple ones too. I just don’t see those as often 😀 Let me see if I can find a lavender one for you 😀

Gorgeous flowers, Cee! Marsha said she wants to go to the Dahlia festival with you. She can go either Wed. 9/21, Thur. or Fri. She arrives on Wed. morning. I would like to go also. Would you email, let me know which day is better for you?
