Shadow of an iris with iris leaves. Taken with my Sony A7III with Sony G OSS 70-200 lens (June 30).
My iPhone Pro 13 Max Pro (June 29). My back yard looking north. Lilies in the foreground, magnolia tree right and on the left side, you can see the wood stacked up from the branch of the maple that fell on our house. The wood should be aged and dried enough to burn this year.

My lilies are just now starting to bloom. It’s been a super late year for flowers. It’s was a cold spring.

Our flowers are early this year because this is the hottest year in CA. The butterflies came back early and I raised 40 monarchs so far.

It’s getting very hot and I got quite a few casualties. They’re fragile at each stage especially during the transitions. 🙂 🙂

It was a big one branch that came down. The owners (our neighbors) had t take their tree down. It had been dying for a couple of years. Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to comment 😀
