Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.
Jez from Photos by Jez blog, this month is featuring rhododendrons on his entry for my FOTD. I thought I would join him with a Rhodie today.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

The whites are cool, because I don’t see them that often 😀

Rhododendron flowers often surprise me. Their patterns and colours are spectacular when you look closely as you’ve shown here

Sooo pretty! When we lived in the Netherlands we rented a house that had Rododendron of approx. 7 feet tall (the pink flowers), but I have never seen a white Rhododendron – somehow it does look like a different flower (from its pink sister).

Have a great 4th! Emille

My two front rhodies as as tall as our one story house. I love them when they get that big. 😀

Oh, the whites are so pretty. Never been able to grow rhododendrons, for some reason. Or camellias! The only thing I know how to grow are hydrangeas and roses.
