Here is my entry for guest host Aletta from NowAtHome blog, of the Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge with the topic of Treasures. I was thrilled when I found out Aletta was guest hosting this week. I so adore her photography.
My pets have always been treasures to me. Here is a photo of the two pets we have now. Freddie (cat is 22 human years old now) and Miss Digi (about 5 years old now).

I’m not one who collects things, but I collect memories and a photo or two to go with them. One day I was asked to take photos for an organization that granted Geraldine (90 year old woman) a wish to sit on a horse again. This slider is of her being helped onto the horse. And a familiar photo of her hand, which most of you will recognize.

This next photo is of a cruise Chris and I have taken a couple of times on an old fashioned sternwheeler.

This next photo shows our Japanese maple in the rain. We love Oregon and our rain. In fact, my tree looks much like this today since it’s been raining most of the day.

I treasure my life with Chris. We’ve been together for well over 30+ years. We’ve seen it all and been through life together. The photo on the left is Chris walking a labyrinth she made on a Northern California beach and the photo on the right is her with a McCaw.

Last but not least is a couple of photos that Chris took of me with my treasured camera in hand. The first photo is of me taking photos under a Black Walnut tree. The second photo of me standing in the middle of the dahlia fields.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

The labyrinth photo is one of my favorites. I took that back in 2002 or 2003. It was one of the first digital sony cameras on the market. 😀 😀

These are great treasures, Cee. I can see why each one is a treasure to you, and I did recognize the hand. Sadly, my 70-year-old hand looks much the same. – wrinkle-wise, not getting on a horse-wise – LOL!
