Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

If only the water on our flowers fell from the sky rather than the hose or watering can. We are still waiting. It’s not as hot, but no rain. I can only hope that the skies will open soon!
Sunflowers are wonderful!

We had one day of rain last week, which for us in August is really amazing. Our rains usually don’t start until mid-September, but then it will rain off and on until July 4. 😀 😀

We are getting Marilyn’s rain – every day, and still, my flowers haven’t bloomed. I groomed everything on Saturday. My tomato produced about 4 dwarf tomatoes, and may have another 5-6 on the branches, which I thinned out to give them more nourishment – I hope. But they are getting plenty of rain.

We probably won’t get rain until mid-september. But as you know that is normal around here. 😀

That’s true. It will probably rain on the day of our Dahlia trip.

The essence of summer. After the temperatures we’ve been having, the water droplets make me think that the flower is perspiring heavily!
