FOTD – September 15 – Azaleas and Amarylis

Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD).  During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it.  Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

Letter A – Judy from Lifelessons and I are playing with the Alphabet for flower names. Feel free to play along with us if you want. Here is Judy’s link for today. If you want help identifying flowers that start with a specific letter check out FlowerNamesList.

If you don’t want to play along please just post a flower as usual.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. Normally, I’d play along but tomorrow is our actual anniversary. Garry brought me the most beautiful roses. I had to get pictures of them. Roses don’t last long and I wanted them up tomorrow. But I’ll try to follow from “B” to “Z.” It should be fun.

  3. Cee, I had originally posted my “B” flower for today, but just trashed it and republished my “A” post from yesterday so we’d be on the same letter each day. Tomorrow I’ll do “B.” I don’t know how to establish a pingback for my blog so they’ll just have to put their link in my comments. Thanks for playing along! xo
