Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

Letter A – Judy from Lifelessons and I are playing with the Alphabet for flower names. Feel free to play along with us if you want. If you want help identifying flowers that start with a specific letter check out AllMyFavoriteFlowerNames.
If you don’t want to play along please just post a flower as usual.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Ah, the lilies of the field…
I remember when I had so many colors of lilies. Chinese lilies. In pink or yellow and red with golden edges. Now, they are all of the Tiger variety — our wild (but really, imported from Tibet) lilies. And local water lilies, usually white, but occasionally pink. Mostly white like in the picture — which you won’t see yet because I haven’t gotten through K yet. You guys are leaping ahead of me. I’m running, but I can’t quite catch up. But I’ll keep running. Maybe we’ll hit the Zs at the same time after I skip over all the letter for which I have no flowers…

Both Judy and I screwed up. I So juy game me permission to skip K which I was happy with. 😀 😀

I didn’t have a “K” either, but now I’m a day behind. But there are so many coming up for which I don’t have anything, I will catch up pretty fast unless I manage to get really creative about what I’m calling things 🙂

That lotus is beautiful, Cee 😃 I must have gone out of sync, my L flowers will be tomorrow 😂

Judy posted two in one day, I screwed up on dates…hence the confusion. So Judy gave me permission to skip K, which was good. I had no K anyhow. 😀 😀
