Here is my entry for Donna from Wind Kisses blog guest hosted Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge.
Astoria Megler Bridge I decided to use a man-made “hill” and show you my favorite and most scariest bridge in Oregon. Hopefully this bridge will never be “over the hill”. It connects the States of Oregon and Washington and is slightly over 4 miles in distance.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee

Wow, Cee. I can feel the weight and light of it through your photography. Genius.

Oh my gosh–this is wonderful, Cee, but I think that was my heart that dropped–never mind the bridge! 😮 That roller coaster drop–wow!!

It is scary the first time you drive it … at least according to Chris who drove it as I was taking photo after photo. 😀 😀

I love the submission Cee. We just went across to Astoria, from Washington to Oregon two weeks ago. You have a far more clear day than we did. Kudos to you. I found it hard to take photos from the car. The bridge is stunning in your photos, and indeed a hill. I have to say… while a cool bridge, it is a bit unnerving to cross the four miles. For us it was windy. Thank you for joining.

Wind on that bridge, I would not like…that would heightened the anxiety a bit. 😀 😀 So glad you my entry. 😀

Amazing. My throat would be in my mouth driving the drop.

Oh my goodness Cee – scariest seems the best adjective for this one!!! I guess one really cannot drive with eyes closed but I bet most people wish they could!

It is a straight line, but I would keep your eyes open if you are driving 😀

My stomach flutters just looking at these pictures. I’ve had scary dreams about bridges like this. They fascinate and frighten me at the same time.

It’s easier to come from the Washington side, because driving up the hill isn’t as intimidating 😀

I can imagine! I’d have to have my husband drive.

Have a camera and keep taking photos. Not nearly as scary that way 😀

True! A camera creates some psychological distance.

Great take on hills, Cee! The first image where you got a hint of the big drop to the left…had me gasping. Looking at the real drop was not half as scary!

Especially with someone else driving and my camera was stuck to my eye and I looked straight ahead 😀 😀

I would love to take a ride over that bridge. Somehow we missed that bridge on our journeys through Washington state the last couple of years.

It is way on the south west tip of Washington. 😀
