Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Two posts, one from Rich Paschall which is more music, but also some beautiful pictures — but how can you have autumn without the music? And another from me. The cold is on the way. Too soon. I wanted autumn to go on a few more weeks as it sometimes does, but I guess not this year.
Maple leaves are falling and the oak trees are turning deep red and bronze. I get a bit wistful because everything seems to be so hurried these days.

Right now we are under Red alert because of the smoke in the air. Friday we should be getting some rain and cooler temperatures. That should help with the wildfires and air quality. Thanks for playing 😀

Good luck with the fires! Rain always helps, especially if you get a lot of it.

That’s certainly not the boring oranges and browns I was expecting.

It’s an old photo. Air quality is still red for us. I’ve not gone out in two weeks and neither has Chris. 😀
