Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

It’s so pretty. But can you actually eat it? What a fabulous cole slaw it would make!

We havecalled them decorative or domesticated Kale. There was an entire bed of these in Centennial Park and that’s what they said they were. They look more like Cauliflower than Cabbages to me.

From a distance they do look like cauliflower, but up close I can see the layers of leaves 😀

Yes, when I walked over to the garden bed they did look more cabbagey, as does yours. I don’t like Kale it tastes like grass (lawn type),to me.

Those winter cabbages were everywhere in Sacramento as a landscape floral, Cee. They do make a great image. Here is my mysterious post this week: https://secondwindleisure.com/2022/10/30/sunday-stills-the-mysterious-is-a-beautiful-thing/
