This is my entry for Becky’s November #WalkingSquares challenge. I’m not walking a lot these days, so for Becky’s challenge I thought I go through my archives.
One of my favorite places to walk and visit as Cobble Beach located in the Yaquina Headlight National Park in Newport, Oregon. Here are some shots of the walk down to Cobble Beach. It’s a short walk, but with a lot of stairs going down to the beach itself. The is nothing small about this area.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

I would love to get to Oregon! You have some beautiful scenery, Cee.

I can and do spend many hours watching and photographing waves. Good thing there is a delete button 😀

It helps having the sun overhead and cloudy behind. Makes the color pop more 😀

I must go down to the seas again, […] And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying, And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying. … (John Masefield)

I love it when the ocean is wild. The last few times I’ve been to the coast the water was as calm as can be 😀

When we lived at the Saudi coast, we saw nothing but calm seas. Not only is the Arabian Gulf not known for rough seas, but out stretch was Halfmoon Bay which is particularly calm. But I love watching rough seas.

I tend to not take photos if the ocean is calm. Just to borning, if you get my drift 😀

It’s a lot of stairs to get to cobble beach, but it is so worth it. And with a camera I can stop on the way up and take photos and people don’t realize I’m just trying to catch my breath LOL 😀
