Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.

Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

Great light in this Cee. I love the paleness of the yellow and that wasp, sure had a good meal on that beautiful flower.

This is amazing Cee. I love capturing an insect in a flower photo. Wasps are such graceful insects, powerful sting, but beautiful nonetheless.

  Yes power stings, I was once attacked by them. Had over 50 stings and nearly died 😀

    Ouch, oh my….and if you were near me as I write this you would have heard my sympathetic moan. I’ve only had a few instances of more than one sting, and that was only a couple. I can’t imagine being stung that many times by a wasp. Glad you came through it.
