Wildlife close to home – Lens-Artists Photo Challenge

Here is my entry for Anne of Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge. 

lizard found in a park. Chris picked it up on a leaf so I could photograph it better.
Young deer fond roaming just outside a park in Canby Oregon.
Hummingbird. We get them nearly year round here.
Lots of people own chickens.
Squirrel in a Canby park.
Horses are commonly seen in larger farm areas.
Eagle on a roof a block or so away from me.
Dragon flies are commonly seen in the summer.

  5. Outstanding as always Cee. Of these the horse is spectacular (😊), loved the eagle on the roof and the dragonfly on the flower is so beautifully captured with those wonderful colors!

  6. My favorite are the hummingbird and the dragonfly photos! I have seen a hummingbird only once in my life and even that was for such a small moment that I don’t even know the color of the hummingbird 😂. Would love to see it again some day!

    It was a difficult choice, but the photo of the lotus bud with the dragonfly is my favorite. 😊🌺

  20. You’ve shown us a great variety of local wildlife Cee and beautifully photographed. That lizard is wonderful. I only see the grey variety here. And I love the young deer. How lucky to have a bald eagle on your neighbor’s roof. Oh heck, I loved all the images. Thanks for participating in this challenge.

  21. I was trying to pick a favourite but I kept wowing as I went along. Hummingbird is one, as is the Dragonfly and of course the Eagle 🙂 🙂

  26. A lovely mixture of the familiar and the exotic. Unfortunately the grey squirrel was introduced here from America in 1976, and has out-competed our native (and much cuter) red squirrels which now only exist in the extreme north and in Scotland. I don’t hold you personally responsible Cee – it was English landowners wot dunnit. But it just shows- we shouldn’t mess with nature.
