This is my entry for Becky’s November #WalkingSquares challenge. I’m not walking a lot these days, so for Becky’s challenge I thought I go through my archives.
For those of you who love to go to Museums there is a fairly new challenge called Only in a Museum and it is run by Flights of the Soul blog.
So I’m featuring the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museums. It is the home of the Spruce Goose. I’m showing some photos from inside the museum for today. Next week, I may show some photos that I captured outdoors. There is so much to see and do at this place.

I’ve put together a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

The Spruce Goose is huge. You can pay to have a tour inside it. My brother-in-law took it and he even sat in the pilots seat. He was like a little kid. 😀

It’s a fun place to visit. We go every couple a years on the off hours and look at the planes and the changes to the outside 😀 😀

Sometimes I’m surprised at what people were confident to get into in order to fly.

I think you would enjoy it. It is now two separate museums one for aircraft and one for space. 😀 😀

That is great to have them in separate spaces. I would wander for ages among the exhibits 🙂 🙂

Even a small airplane museum is big. The Tuskegee museum is probably tiny by most standards standards for airplanes, but it’s built in an airplane hangar, so it’s not exactly small. That being said, I totally LOVE planes, old and new — and flying. Not in commercial planes, but small private ones. And I love the whole history of air travel.

I agree with not commercial planes. At least those of today. 😀 😀

that plane is enormous – the tour of it must be as long as a hike!

Just thing how big the building is to house it. The grounds outside are huge and scattered (nicely) with jets and planes. 😀 😀
