Texture – Lens-Artists Photo Challenge

Here is my entry for guest host, Jude of Cornwall in Colours blog, of Lens-Artists Photo A Week Challenge.

This first photo is of a huge tree that fell parallel to a house in Canby. We had a real large tree branch fall on to our our and pation and it really shook the house. I can’t imagine the noise and vibration these poor owners felt when this tree just fell down.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts.  So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog.  Feel free to contact me anytime.  I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

  1. So many fabulous photos, Cee, beyond the textures. There’s something about the barbed wire fence shot that beckons me to stop and rest.

  2. Wonderful choices for the week Cee. Loved the wood images especially. Interestingly our next door neighbor had a HUGE tree fall down behind their house and their back yard is beside our home. When it happened my husband and I jumped up to see what on earth had happened – we thought it was our house it shuddered so violently. Fortunately no harm done to theirs or ours by oh my was it loud and frightening!

    • It is a frightening sound. Just remembering it sends shivers down my spine. I can’t imagine what they felt when that tree came down. They were so lucky it didn’t crash on their house.
