I’ve seen it before, but I really love your barbed wire — and those chicken legs have a certain “je ne sais quoi.” I was going to add flowers, but I had the camera and macro lens in my hands and the only thing close enough was the Duke, so… it’s the Duke! All Duke.

I like my barbed wire too 😀

Excuse me. Seagull legs. Bird legs are very interesting to look at any old time. And the sun from behind the sunflower is also special.

I do like birds legs and feet too 😀

The seagull was sitting right in front of me on a wood rail. It was an obviously photo at that point to capture 😀

Wonderful close ups and macro Cee, the way you captured the bird in your opening image is wonderful! Misty’s contribution for this week’s lovely challenge is here: https://whippetwisdom.com/2022/12/08/haiku-moon-wind/

That nail looks pretty nasty. There’s a commercial with an old lady running barefoot on a wooden pier that has nails like that sticking up. It pains me every time I see her racing to jump into the lake! The bird seems oblivious to possible nails. 🙂 Have a great week, Cee.

Decks shouldn’t have nails in them. They should be screws. 😀 😀
