Welcome to my Flower of the Day Challenge (FOTD). During the winter months, please feel free to use your archives and find some old favorite photos.
Please feel free to post every day or when you you feel like it. Don’t forget that my FOTD challenge accepts gardens, leaves and berries as well as flowers.

I’ve gathered a list of challenges and their hosts. So if you know a challenge host, please direct them to my blog. Feel free to contact me anytime. I hope everyone will be able to use my lists.

Unless the nurseries are tormenting these with dark rooms, we don’t get to enjoy pretty Poinsettias for Christmas. But we do get to enjoy seeing them in full bloom (naturally) by July and I love seeing them for my birthday ❤️

It’s a hemisphere difference on when the poinsettias bloom. You should check this July to see if you have different varieties 😀

Yeah, they need less daylight. I have five different varieties now, any more and I’ll need a bigger garden 🤣

I just can’t fathom growing them in a garden. We are way to cold to do that 😀
